I have to admit, I was a bit scared of writing this post, mostly because I feel that this might come across as a unpopular opinion. But after trying to feel what everyone was feeling, I had to give in and admit that the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer might not work with me like it works for other people.
New In | Make Up
4/17/2017
Oh how I missed this! After spending almost 3 weeks without my laptop, I am finally able to write and post here like I wanted to! Today I'll be sharing a collective make up haul - meaning that I did not get all of these things at the same time ( by any means) - and my thoughts and first impressions on these. I'll probably be doing a more in dept review later. If there is anything you want me to review or compare please let me know!
Inside my Make Up Bag
7/25/2016
I think at some point, we all wonder what's inside each other make up bag. Finally I took the time to share what's inside mine. Everyone has different tastes and opinions regarding how their make up bags are - someone people like to take half of the their make up collection, others like to keep it within the minimum. Personally, I like the idea of being prepared for any occasion but not overwhelming my make up bag with items. Things like foundation and primers have no space here for example. I might think about adding a small container of concealer and a travel sized mascara for example. And more blotting paper. But let's see what I actually have inside :
Compact Mirror
This mirror was actually a gift of my brother, which is why I decided to place it here without thinking twice. I might have a mirror on my powder compact but sometimes when I am just retouching my lipstick, it's better to use this once. It means there will be less chances of me breaking ( again) my favourite powder compact.
Clinique Chubby Stick in 14 Curvy Candy
I got this guys from a Sephora Sale last year and I decided it was the perfect for my make up bag. Let's imagine I forget to pack lipstick one day...I'll always have this guy on hand. It's not super pigmented but it is enough. It's also moisturising, which really helps considering that my lips sometimes decide to get chapped. I'm curious about other shades they might have.
Sephora Eyeshadow Jumbo Pencil in Beige
I also got this from the sales section last year. I used to have this shoved inside my drawer but later I decided to have it here. Let's imagine I don't have time in the morning to do my eye make up but I happen to have 5 extra minutes before class. I can easily apply this little guy on my lips and that's it. Eye look done without any type of fuzz or issues.
Sephora waterproof Brown Pencil
I think we can all notice how much I love this pencil. I'm actually on the hunt for a similar pencil. I like to have this little guy for the same reason I like to have my eyeshadow jumbo pencil - I can just line my waterline with this and I'll have a simple make up look done without any issues or problems. I can also do retouches to other make up looks with it. Seriously, having this on hand is a good thing.
O Boticário EGO Woman dolce roll-on Perfume
This is probably one of funnier things I own here. Every time I pull this out people look at me and ask what am I using and how good it smells. I like roll-on perfumes because they are easy to apply and carry. I tend to always apply perfume in the morning time but, some times I like to retouch it and this is just perfect. I might get a new one soon since this one is more than half-way trough.
Essence Powder Brush
This is the cheapest brush I own. It isn't spectacular or anything special but does the job - applying powder and retouch my make up during the day. And that's all I ask/need to. Although I might switch for a retractable brush one of these days - I used to want one from Too Faced because of how cute it was.
Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Powder Waterproof
A staple in my make up bag. This is my favourite powder - it is transparent, super fine and lightweight and takes care of any oiliness or shine from my face without any major issue. It also doesn't leave that powdery/cakey look that some powders tend to do. I once broke the compact of one of these and I was seriously heart broken because of it.
Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother
If you every wanted to try out the Clarins Lip Perfector but you don't want or can spend that amount of money on a tinted lip balm, check this one! It's the perfect combination of a lip gloss and lip balm. When I am no wearing the clinique chubby stick, I go for this one. I also like to use it on top of lip tints. It's super moisturising and makes my lips look a lot more healthier and good looking.
Lastly but not least, I might also have random lipsticks inside my make up bag - here yo can see cinnamon kiss from Too Faced which was what I had been wearing on the previous day. You might also find NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams and the Sephora Lip Stains here on a daily basics.
I hope you enjoyed this post! Take care.

10 Products Under 10€
7/20/2016
Not everyone has the budget to splurge on Too Faced and Urban Decay and truth to be told, the drugstore ( or high street? ) section has beautiful gems that do a beautiful job - sometimes even better than the one performed by more expensive brands. With that in mind, here are 10 products under 10€ that I believe deserve all the love and attention!
Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer
I think I've already mentioned this concealer at least three times during the past weeks. But this is seriously one of the best concealer I've ever tried - and I'm counting with the 3CE Full Coverage Concealer. It is super to blend, specially when you work it with a Beauty Blender ( or something similar to it). The coverage is really good, but with the pro that it isn't that drying like some high coverage concealers are. It leaves a very natural look to the skin. The only downside it that there are (so far) only two shade available. I hope they get to get a larger colour range and who knows, maybe launch colour correcting concealer in liquid form as well?
Catrice Prime and Fine Mattifying Powder Waterproof
Although the Soap & Glory Powder gain a lovely spot on my heart, I have to say that this bad boy is still rocking. It's my official powder for retouching during the day and travelling - without even thinking twice. This powder is super mild and fine, not leaving any cake look to the face. It controls any oiliness that might decide to appear and it's translucid - it doesn't leave any white cast onto the face. This is my second compact that I'll repurchase it without thinking twice for sure.
H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blusher
So far I only own Cameo Pink but since I am considering getting another shades I think this little guy deserves to be mentioned. In terms of the product itself it isn't a powdery blush - props for that. It applies beautifully to the skin and blends without any major issue. The only downside might be the fact that the compact is a little fragile and doesn't carry a mirror. leaving that aside, the H&M blushes deserve a try.
H&M Pure Velvet Cream Blusher
I've said it before and I'll say it again - I like this one more than my bourjois cream blushes ( not that I don't like them any more! I still do!). This is so easy to blend and holds in such a beautiful way to the skin that sometimes I foget that this is a budget friendly product and not a high end one. The only downside again is that it doesn't have a mirror and the packaging is quite weak. That aside, I can't wait to get more shades from this range.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
I already wrote a whole post talking about how much I love these little guys. I can't wait to get my hands on their Lingerie brothers. These are super comfortable to the lips and really easy to apply. I've been using Zurich and San Paulo a lot lately and sometimes I even like to mixture them with other liquid lipsticks - like the Sephora Lip Stains. Their colour range is amazing and has an option for every taste - from a light pink to a deep burgundy and even dark blue!
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
Pretty much a more friendly version of the Beauty Blender. I have this guy for a year and to far I have to say that I am in love! My foundation always look amazing whenever I apply it with this and my under eye concealer looks so much natural when I use this - not it doesn't with a concealer brush, but the effort is completely different. I am seriously thinking about getting another one or two, specially since I started to get into the "baking craze" and I need at least a spare brush always on reach. The same of this sponge isn't completely like the beauty blender but I like how it is designed. I really like the flat part to blend in concealer or to apply powder under my eye area.
Argent Makeup 201 Blending Brush
Another item I can't stop raving about. Seriously, you guys need to try out this! It has the perfect shape and bristles to give you a perfect blending to your eye look. It doesn't matter if you are working with creams or with regular powder eyeshadows , this guy will work it without any major issue. Everyone needs to have one of these in their arsenal.
The Body Shop Lip Butter
Since I lost my dearest Nuxe Rive the Miel back in February - yes I'm morning it since that time. I've been using this little guys. At first went for it because It was something I already had with me...not I can't stop using it. I'll for sure repurchase the Nuxe Lip Balm for the Winter Time ( and keep it inside a vault and implement a GPS tracking system next time I decided to take it with me on a trip....) but now that it's super hot this guy has been saving my life. I wear tones of Matte Lipsticks and with the infernal heat, you guys can imagine how my lips end up...this little guy had been taking care of that and making my lips look amazing and super pretty.
Inglot Individual Shadows
Shame on me for not reaching for these more often and for not finishing this palette! I went to an event the other day and I decided to make a summer look with the orange and red shade from this palette and I can't explain how easy it is to work with these! Their shade selection is also really remarkable. My 2017 makeup goal will be finishing the rest of this palette and love these eyeshadows more!
Gosh Forever Eyeshadow Stick
These are true gems hidden at the drugstore!! I got two of these just " to try it out" and now I hooked to them. It doesn't matter if I wear them as a base, alone or just highlighting my inner corner - they will stay put and look amazing. Considering I have a huge oil production on my eye lids, it is amazing. Their shade selection could be a little bigger - I wish they had a pink and a cranberry shade - but I can't wait to get the brown and the purple one. If you can, snatch one of these and try them yourself!
I hope you guys liked this post. Obviously there are more products that could be mentioned here - like the Essie Nail polishes, H&M nail Polishes and many other goods. I might do a similar post but regarding more expensive brands - but probably with less products. Do you guys have any recommendation regarding any product? Thank you very much for reading this! Take care.
Mid Year Makeup Favourites
7/08/2016
I haven't write a post regarding monthly favourites for a long, long time. Mostly because of how busy my life has been. And to be honest, I wouldn't see any major change in terms of my routine that would be worth mentioning. favourites take a while to be favourites I guess. Because of that I took the decision to only write about favourites whenever I would felt like it. Now that the first 6 months of the year have passed - say what? - It feels like the proper time to do so. With no further due, here are my mid-year make up favourites (I'll probably do a post regarding my currently skin care routine later on)
Zoeva 227 Luxe Soft Definer
Most people dream about MAC's 217. And then there's me - who is very happy with Zoeva's version. Seriously, every time I use this brush, I consider getting another spare brush (I already own another 227). This brush is perfect for those frantic mornings where I want to do something close to a proper eyeshadow look but I can't bother too much with blending because I am late for Uni (or colege if you live in the USA). This brush is amazing to do the typical "wash of colour" on the eye lid. I also like it to regular blending, specially when I indeed have time to do proper eyeshadow looks.
Argent Makeup Brush in 201
Let me start by saying that I need to get two spares of this bad boy. I am yet to find a blending brush that does the same good job as this brush. Zoeva's are good - don't get me wrong - but because of the shape and bristles of this brush, I am able to do blending at whole new level. The shape is just perfect for my eyes - some blending brushes tend do be too big, making a hot mess instead of a beautiful blending. If you can, don't think twice about trying out this brush. You won't regret it.
Argent Makeup Brush in 102
What can I say? I love blush, it's something I love applying. And to do that I like to use soft brushes. This one is so, but soo soft, I can't even explain it. The shade is also really amazing, considering how the apple os my cheeks look like. I also like to use it for bronzer and contour sometimes - it blends it without any major issues.
Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer
No one will believe me, but I only own one concealer at this point. Yes, you read it right. One concealer. But it is probably one of the best concealers I have used. In the past I had some issues with Catrice concealers because they would be a little hard to blend, but this one - probably because of the liquid formula - it's just a dream. It has amazing coverage, making my dark circles vanish ( although it's hard because they are really bad). And it is super affordable and super easy to apply. I'm planing on getting another concealer in the future, but this one will always be an option.
Too Faced Cocoa Powder Foundation
Liquid hasn't been really option to me. Mostly because I've been enjoying a more natural look to the skin. This Powder foundation has been my staple because of that - it takes away the redness around my nose but lets my skin look like skin. And to think I used to call this " the good smelling powder". Nowadays I am considering getting this again once it hits pan without thinking twice.
Clinique Cheek Pop in 03 Berry Pop
I never though I would love this blush as much as I do. The texture of this blush is quite funny - at first seems like a cream, but is indeed a powder blush. I only need a tiny bit of this and my cheeks look all healthy and good looking. It also stays in place for...8 to 10 hours without moving? Impressive indeed, specially when I get ready in the morning and only get home after 10 hours - which include running to the bus, pollution, air conditioning and that kind of lovely stuff. I choose this shade in particular because it has become my go-to shade, no matter the occasion.
H&M Beauty Department Blush in Cameo Pink
Another staple in my collection. Whenever I want a neutral blush, this is the first thing grab - another option the Benefit's Rockateur - because it just looks amazing. It is fairly inexpensive and the quality is quite impressive. It isn't powdery or anything like that and blends beautifully. I should be rewarded for not getting my drawer full of these guys.
Sephora Lip Cream Stain in Marvelous Mauve
Liquid Lipsticks have been a staple in my makeup routines lately. Alone or in a combination - I'll blame NikkieTutorials for my recent obsession regarding matte-gradient lips ( not the same as the Asian gradient lips, which I actually enjoy for the Summer time. I've been using this shade almost as a MLBB shade. And to think that I almost didn't get it. I have a friend who is always complementing me whenever I use this and is currently thinking about getting one for herself. I really want to get more shades like this one (if you read my previous post regarding my wish list you'll notice that).
If you are looking for a Mauve-nude liquid lipsticks, be sure to try this one. You won't regret it.

NYX Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick in Zurich
I don't know why, but it seems that NYX is currently everywhere - youtube, blogs, instagram. I believe it's due to their repackaging and kind of "rebranding". I don't know, I used to not pay attention to this brand but recently their releases have been indeed really good. I am a real fan of their liquid lipsticks and I can't wait to try out their Lingerie Liquid Lipstick line (along side with other goodies). I picked Zurich because it's the perfect nude shade. I tend to wear this either alone or combining it with other liquid lipsticks. And to think I almost didn't got it!
Here are my mid-year makeup favourites! I already have a few posts prepared to write and launch. I might also do some "lifestyle" posts and some "tourist" posts regarding some of the Summer trips I might do. After all, I am finally and officially on Summer Vacation! It was a crazy year, but more craziness and hard work is about to come. Bring it on I guess! Thank you very much for reading and take care!

Spring dear Spring, please bring the warm and sun. But leave the pollens and allergies. ( anyone who suffers from them will understand my plea ).
If during the winter time I have a thing for Reds and deep Burgundy shades, sometimes purples and other dark colours - during the Spring and Summer I tend to gravitate towards the opposite. I don't know why but I always had a things for pink-coral lipsticks. It's unconscious I have to say. But thankfully I never committed the shameful mistake of getting a lipstick that it is equal to other I might had - they all differ in therms of they are more pink or more coral , texture and finish.
With all of this in mind, I decided to share my picks and kind-of collection of pink-coral lipsticks. I'm quite proud because there are options for all budgets - from High End, passing through Korean Beauty and finally Budget Beauty. There are two shades that are part of limited collections but I believe that their brands eventually released this same shade but in another collections.
I might also do a similar post but about blushes and eyeshadows...but now let's embrace the lipsticks.
( from left to right : Etude House OR202 ; Etude House PK001 ; Etude House PK023 ; Too Faced Juicy Melons ; MAC Sunny Seoul ; KIKO 32 ; Catrice 210 Pinkadilly Circus )
Etude House Dear My Wish Lips Talk in 0R202 - I have already declared my love for this line from Etude House in a previous post. This shade in particular is probably the only orange I dare to wear. But it indeed screams Spring and Summer to me. In terms of texture is probably the creamiest of the bunch and the one (along side with the other shade I'll mention from this line) that stains the most and holds the colour.
Etude House Dear My Wish Lips Talk in PK001 - This is a bright pink and although you can't see on the swatch, it does contain more orange - while in the swatch appears to contain more blue and pink. It is probably my favourite shade of the selection, since it is the one that screams happiness, light and brightness to me. I don't know, It just feels like a positive shade.
Etude House Dreaming Swan Dear my Blooming Lips Talk in PK023 - I have to admit that I have a love-hate relationship with this lipstick. It is more dry than the other lipsticks I own from the brand and tends to sometimes emphasize any dry patch or lines that I might have on a particular bad day. But on good days this just looks super gorgeous on my lips. I guess I'll have to learn how to work with it during the season.
Too Face La Créme in Juicy Melons - In terms of High End formulas Too Faced is probably my favourite so far. This was the first lipstick I tried from the brand to this day I have not regret the decision. It is super creamy and pigmented, comfortable and the shade is totally my ally.
MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Sunny Seoul - This is a very sentimental lipstick for me. Let me introduce you to my first purchase from MAC. At the time I was still quite afraid of getting bold colour so getting a cremesheen lipsticks seemed the best option at the time. Today I like to wear this one on days I have a more detailed eye look and I want a pop of colour on my lips but nothing major.
KIKO Ace of Diamond Lipstick in 32 - This lipstick was part of a limited collection KIKO had two years ago if I am not mistaken. At this point you already realized that I truly like coral lipsticks and that it isn't much of a surprise that I got this shade...But I have to say that I wish they would release more lipsticks with this formula since the lipstick dries matte but stays comfortable and lasts for hours without any major issue.
Catrice Ultimate Colour in 210 Pinkadilly Circus - I had to mention another budget option, since the previous was discontinued/part of a limited collection. I got this lipstick during a trip where I was able to forget all of my lipsticks at home (#NoLipstickNoMakeupLook)... It is probably the one I wear the least I'm not a huge fan of the waxy formula but comparing it to other option I believe it's something worthy to be mention and to tried.
As you can see, there are options for every budget and preference. I'll do eventually a similar post about Pink and Coral blushes ( I'm trying to find courage to swatch all of those babies on my arm...)
Do you guys have any recommendation for Coral Lipsticks?
Thank you very much for reading and take care!!

The 2014 Makeup Favourites
1/19/2015
Anyway, I'm getting better. I've been hanging out with friends and trying to be as happy as possible. Time heals.
Now, into the beauty-stuff. I tried to many new things in 2014...and the same will happen in 2015 for sure. You'll notice that I didn't choose a palette, mostly because I couldn't decided between the Naked 3 and the Nude Tude...So I decided to not include them. Next time maybe?
So, starting off with the face products, my favourite base/foundation was for sure the Benefit Big Easy. I like it for lazy days where I just want to even out my tone and leave. I like how I can manage to not use a powder with this one, since it has a cream-to-powder finish. I already have to new bases to try out during 2015 but, I might repurchase this on in the future, specially for the summer time.
As for concealer, MAC Studio Finish Concealer was good find, it's amazing to cover any blemishes and marks that I might have due to hormonal spots and other problems - like a food allergies...In terms of highlighting, Benefit High Beam and Benefit What's Up were my choices. Both look amazing on my skin, although I'll be sincere - What's Up deserves more points because I never expected it to be this good. I'll get the full size for sure!
In terms of blush and contour the prize goes to the Nars Orgasm and Laguna duo. Seriously, when I don't know what to wear, I like this. It looks and super pretty on my skin. Pure perfection I say!
Last but not least from this section, the Catrice Prime and Five Mattifying powder is a long-time favourite. I finally came to terms into ditching my old Rimmel Stay Matte power - which I don't really like by the way - and although I might try one or another powder, this one is a safe choice and I'll probably promote him as handbag staple.
Eye stuff. Simple and fresh was the key.
So because of that, Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit deserves a spot here. You all know how much I love and I even purchased another shade because how much I loved this one. Easy to apply, And the same goes to the MAC Paintpot in Painterly. I mean, it's my favourite base. I might use my eye primers but I love to use this one as well because it makes a huge difference. It's one of the best purchases I ever did from MAC.
The VM Hypoallergenics Ooh-La-lash Mascara is so far the best mascara I ever tried in my life. Seriously, I mean : I don't react to it, I don't cry, I don't feel my lashes heavy and it doesn't smudge. It's made in Korea and made me super curious to try out Korean and Japanese Mascaras, because I'm tired of ending up with a bottle of Mascara that's a pain to use due to the fact that I can't wear it during a full school-day.
The Catrice Made to Stay Inside Eye Highlighting Pen deserves the award for the Longest name ever...besides that, it's really amazing. It stays on my waterline, I didn't get any bad reaction and the colour is just perfect to making me look more awaken. I'll be repurchasing this for a while.
Lastly but not least, the Argent Makeup 201 Brush is the perfect blending brush. I mean it. It has the right size, the bristles are super soft and my makeup never looks scary or crazy. And epic win, I dare to to say.

Both have one of the most comfortable formulas I've ever encounter and the pay-off is really good. I was able to snatch them during the Summer Sales last year and I'm really happy for it.
I Know, this is probably one of the worst posts I've even done but I promise that I'll try to get new content with better quality during the rest of the month, specially reviews and a huge Empties Post. There's also more makeup shopping to show - a shame, I know. So stay tune!
Thank you again for everything, take care!

November Favourites'14
12/02/2014
Oh yes, another month went by. November was the month of changes. Blog included.
So, if haven't noticed, the blog name and URL has changed. I had an Epiphany moment were I decided to change it...and here it is. School is still crazy. More 3 weeks of classes and I'll a small break for exams and if everything goes like it should I'll be back in classes around February. That would give me a bit of time to work on more posts. I'll also try to post some-kind-of-Christmas-wishlist?
So, I haven't used too much makeup during this month, mostly because I was sick during past of the month and it was bad. Terrible. Still, the days I wore, I had a few favourites. So I had to share them, obviously.
The Clio Kill it Black Waterproof Brush Eyeliner was really cool to wear whenever I got time to apply it. It's my first "real" eyeliner - I had one from Catrice which was horrible...- and it's really cool. Although, I need to wear a primer with it, other wise It will go away and I'll look like a panda or something. I might try other liners - I still want to try to dolly wink eyeliner...I mean, the raves! Anyway, I might do a review on this one during this month - If I get the time to do it of course...
Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother in 030 Cake Pop and this is apparently an affordable dupe to the Clarins Baume Couleur Lèvres, which are kinda expensive. This baby is amazing for the days were I don't know what to wear but I want to look polish and with my lips hydrated and looking good. I might get the other shade a review both of them too (yes I have a pile of stuff to review...)
VMV hypoallergenics Ooh-la-lash Mascara is probably my mascara best-friend. It's - to this day - the only mascara that doesn't make me want to rub my eyes after applying it or during the day. And if my lash curled worked better, I would probably have doll lashes everyday.
Essie Nail Polish in Not just a Pretty Face and Lovie Dovie are my recent acquisitions. The formula is just perfect - smooth and glossy - doesn't take too much to try and most importantly - doesn't chip like hell. Not Just a Pretty Face is the perfect peachy nude for any occasion and Lovie Dovie is the prettiest pink. Yes, I want more.
NARS duo in Orgasm and Laguna. Do I need to say more? The blush is just perfect - stays in place all day and looks natural. And the bronzer...The bronzer is amazing to define my crease. Yes you read it right, to define my crease. Because you know, I have a huge collection of eyeshadows - planing on getting more - but yes...I defined my crease with a bronzer. You guys probably that I went totally bonkers (probably did, all the best people are. At least that what Alice says)
Skin Food Salman Darkcircle concealer Cream in 01 kicks my under eye dark circles without any problem. (okay, the correct term is cover, I know, don't worry) Nop, I won't be replacing this one any time soon. Sorry Erase Paste, but you got competition.
MAC Studio Fix Concealer in NC20, is still a favourite to deal with dark spots and marks. Although it needs a bit of work during this time - BECAUSE IT'S FREEZING HERE. ELSA LET IT GO ALREADY, OKAY? - but nothing that two extra seconds won't resolve.
So here are my favourites. I'll be back to my studies.
Take care everyone, have a nice day!
With Love,
Diana.
September Essentials and Favourites
10/05/2014
September was an interesting and super busy month. Specially busy.
School has been chaotic and hard working but overall I'm really happy. Yet, I have little time for blogging and I apologize for that. I really love this little corner but it's a bit hard when I get home tired and craving for a good night of sleep. But, I'll use my spare time to work on the blog and other fun projects. But for the current time...I ask for your understanding.
With that in mind, my makeup during this month wasn't nothing that special - a good base, concealer, blush and sometimes lipstick and mascara. I mean, I'm leaving for classes, not for a fashion show. Still, here's what I've been wearing and loving.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar duo+
With the anxiety and that kinda of stuff I broke out due to stress on the right side of my face. It was bad, it hurted a lot...but I'm recovering. And what really helped was this boy. Instead of using it once a day I doubled the dosage and the break outs healed a lot faster. An it's helping with scars as well.
Too Faced Primed and Pureless Primer
I love this stuff. It makes my skin look amazing. I tend to spare this for special occasion but...I need to give it more use! I don't want to have it ruined without using it...so it's the primer of choice. Doesn't mess my bb cream and helps with the oily skin issue.
Benefit Big Easy BB Cream
My current choice for BB cream. Mostly because it's comfortable and keeps the shine away for a long long time compared to the Bourjois BB cream for example. It has nice coverage, but nothing spectacular. But it can be build - which is what I do.A good choice.
Catrice Waterproof Powder
Do I even have to explain? It's my favourite powder! Leaves my skin with a velvety feeling and keep the shine out. Perfect! I can't say much about it.
Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer
This month's bronzer was the chocolate bronzer. I only nee a really small quantity to have a more sculpt face. A must even on lazy days.
Soap&Glory Love at Fist Blush and Peach Party
Spoiler here! I got these bad boys as part of my birthday gift (thanks to my mom!) and I love it! I want to get the bronzer one and the check stick blushes too. These in particular give a really healthy glow to the skin and they are SUPER pigmented. Don't worry, I'll review them later!
So, here are my favourites! I'll try to post my night time skin care routine during this week and I'm just waiting for the Korean products to arrive so I can do my birthday present post!
Thank you for the support! Take care!
With Love,
Diana.
The Drugstore Holly Grails
8/12/2014
(Let's all ignore my really strange expression. Seriously, I suck at selfies, I guess I'll have to employ someone to take me photos. Or maybe I can try a bit more...at least I'm trying!)
I know that I tend to talk more about high end products than drusgstore ones. I used to buy a lot of cheap items - specially essence. But then, most of the products weren't what I expected and ended up giving a bunch to my cousin so I decided to go with less but better. Oh and take advantage of Sephora deals and sales - which is probably the most intelligent thing I can do. But, there are still really amazing affordable products that deserve to shine and get attention. Specially when they perform like high-end products or even better. So, inspired by Vanessa's post about her Drusgstore Gems ( please check it out here ) I decided to make a post about my favourite products from the Drugstore / high street/ affordable companies / whatever you want to call it. (okay, easy Diana, easy...)
So, Starting with the eyeshadow palette, I went for Storm from Sleek. I have a love-hate relationship with their palettes mostly because of their matte shadows - too chalky and powdery for my taste and most of the times lacking in pigmentation. But this one is just good. Now only for the quality but also for the shadow selection. You can do so many types of looks with this palette - neutral ones, colourful ones, smokey ones...the possibilities are endless. So, if you are starting in the Makeup thing, I would totally recommend this one. Also, the packaging is really sturdy and...sleek. Perfect for travelling (Which I'll be doing quite a lot during the next week).
Keeping with the sleek theme, the Face Form in Light had to be mentioned as well. I know that I haven't been using a lot during this year - mostly because I'm been using my bronzer from Too Faced - but this really deserves to be mentioned. Again, amazing for travelling and the pigmentation is insane, specially on that blush. Light hand is a must with him. And yes, I'll be sure to do a comparative post between this and the Nars Orgasm + Laguna duo in the future (specially because I think that they aren't that similar...more in the future I guess).
Oh yes, no drugstore post could be done without mentioning this powder - The Catrice Mattifying Powder Waterproof. I almost got a backup of this yesterday but, I think I'll end up doing it anyway. It's the best powder I ever used - really fine, gives my skin a velvet and pretty look and keep the shine away. It's compact and has a good mirror. It doesn't have any brushes or sponges but, I personally don't care for that.
In therms of drusgstore lispticks I have to admit that I never went into experimenting too much. If I find something nice, I stick with it. That what happen with the Kate by Rimmel London lipsticks. The present here is the 05 but I also own 03 and I'm thinking about getting a few more. They are easy to apply, aren't too moisturising but aren't drying which is good. They just look nice and I can't complain too much...after all this costs around 7 euros.
Also from Rimmel London, their newest cream blushes - Stay Blushed in 001 a Pop of Pink- are also a really nice treat. I wasn't expecting something this nice - easy too blend and build up and hold pretty nicely on my face. The colour I own is perfect for everyday and I'm thinking about searching for more. But won't be soon I guess.
Lastly but not least, the Catrice Waterproof Eye liner pencil in 100 Pearly Bird is my waterline choice. I got it because the one I wanted - matte and with a salmon hint - was (and still is...) out of stock. I'm really glad that I got this because it give a more shine and light to my eyes.
So, here are my dugstore choices, what are yours?
I'll be doing a similar post for high end and...it will be bigger than this. So get ready!
Take care everyone, have a nice day!

The Make up Essentials for Summer
During the Summer time I have to admit that I tend to cut the use of make up - I hate the sensation of having too much on my face or having products literally melting off . Seriously, I really don't like to wear make up when it's 35º Celsius or even more outside. I tend to moisturise and spritz tones of thermal water - and SPF if I leave the house, which I do really rarely because I hate too much heat (as much as I hate too much cold). But I still like to wear make up on special occasions or when the wear is nicier. Here are my pick for that occasion and also, I got inspired to do this post after reading Jenn's version on her blog , so maybe you could check it out later?
Starting with complexion, my choices go to the Benefit Big Easy and Bourjois CC Cream - both leave a very natural look and are really light weight on my face. And both contain SPF, which is a huge plus for the summer time. For powder, obviously my choice is going for my holy grail Catrice Made to Stay Waterproof Powder because it's really amazing. It leaves my skin with a velvety look and leaves t shine-free for a long time.
For the Bronzee-Godess feel Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer is called to the scene because it's really pretty and easy to blend. Also, it's matte so it's amazing for contour. And for a pop of colour, there's nothing like Rimmel London Stay Blushed Cream Blush in 01 Pop of Pink - it's so easy to blend and gives a very natural flushed tone to my cheeks. And lastly, but not least I like to add a bit of highlighter to my cheeks using Benefit What's Up (mini version, but I might repurchase the full-version later because it's really pretty!), giving a gorgeous golden glow.
For eyes, I like to keep them as simple as possible. Sometimes I skip mascara because it get uncomfortable to wear it with the high temperatures. But, I still like a bit of eyeshadow, specially cream ones. So my choice go for the Benefit Creaseless shadows in Birthday Suit and Bikini-tiny (tiny version as well). To have a more awaken look, I also like to pop a bit of Catrice Made to Stay Waterproof Eye-liner to brighten my eyes. And if I want something extra, I can always pop a bit of my Sephora Flashy Waterproof liner and smoke it a bit.
Going 'lippy, I really like to wear corals and pinks during summer (reds are nice too, but I like to leave them for more formal occasions during summer, while in Winter I like to wear them more often). So my choices go for the Bourjois Color Boost in Fuchsia Libre which a really bright and happy pink, MAC Sunny Seoul a more cheer coral and lastly but not least Too Faced Juicy Melons, which has more orange than Sunny Seoul and it's more creamy and pigmented.
So here are my choices. Are you interested in knowing my Summer Skin Care Routine?
Take Care Everyone, have a nice day!

Drugstore Camouflage
6/03/2014
Catrice Camouflage Cream Concealer
At first I got this concealer because it was advertised as a nice dupe for the Studio Fix Concealer from MAC - which wanted and finally got it, a comparative review will be done afterwards - and it looked like a nice option for a drugstore concealer.I wanted something nice for my spots and marks, specially when I'm into getting more light weitght foundations and bases.
As mentioned in my May favourites post, this was quite hard to work at first - it would look cakey and it was really stiff and horrible. But after a tiny spray of thermal water, now it's more creamy and easy to work with. A lot easier actually.
The packaging is a bit of a miss for me...I hate this type of packagings because they always look messy and gets dirty really easily. Just like Boi-ing used to get...
Also, the lasting power isn't really big, since after 3 or 4 hours you can start to see the spot showing up...which means that this isn't really nice for long days were I leave in the morning and only comeback when it's already night.
But overal, it's a good drugstore concealer, but it's nothing amazing like their Waterproof Powder. Not even close.
Take care, have a nice day
With Love,
Diana.
May Favourites '14
5/27/2014
I'm really sorry for the lack of posts. I was meant to be posting on Monday but because of a personal issue (nothing big or bad, just too many things at the same time) I didn't had the heart to write a thing. Now, with everything more or less worked out, I can finally get back with my posts (I have so many new ideas and reviews to share! ).
May Favourites
May was an interesting month. Not as good as April, but there was a few progresses and I have more projects that I want to keep up (like my room for example). I finally have my working desk on my new room but I'm still really unsure about the make up display. Also, I'm desperate for more shelving near the desk and a new mirror. This month I won't display any skin care items because I'm still testing with the new additions and getting to know if I really love them that much or not...but on the other hand, I'm deeply in love with what I have here.
Catrice Waterproof Powder
This really amazing powder was featured in my latest post and it's so good. I never encountered such perfection in a powder form - my skin looks matte but not too matte, velvety and pretty. And as a bonus, controls my oiliness quite well. I was on the run for a good powder but...I'll be putting that off for a while. I just hope that Catrice doesn't discontinue this...It would be a tragedy.
Catrice Camouflage Cream concealer
I had a rough start with this product...it would be hard to use and looked super cakey. But one day I remembered a tip that a favourite blogger used to do with her Kryolan concealer - to spray a bit of fix+ to make the product for soft. I don't have fix+ so I decided to use my Avène thermal water instead...it made a huge difference! Now the concealer is super creamy and soft and so easy to work. So if you got this and find it super hard to work, try this. (For those who have Boi-ing, maybe this tip can help a bit? I couldn't do it to mine since it was expired...)
Catrice Eye Pencil Waterproof in 100 Pearly Bird
An amazing substitute to my beloved Inside eye highlighter pen (which is still out of stock...). It stays for hours, doesn't irritate my eyes and the pearly finish actually gives a really nice effect. Even if I get a backup for my other eye liner, I might still keep another of this around because it's really good as well. And cheaper.
Rimmel London Stay blushed in 001 Pop of Pink
This.Is.So.Good. It's really easy to blend, looks natural and stays nicely in my skin. My expectations for this were really low but I was so wrong...Now I want to get the other colour and review them for you as soon as possible. A must try!
Nars Blush in Seduction
Yes I know, doesn't look like a spring colour but I love it! Specially on pale face...it just makes me less flat and white. Also, it stays on my face for ages, which is amazing for someone who doesn't carry blush on her bag for touch ups. (Too much unnecessary weight for me...also, I'm always afraid of breaking things).
Thank you for all of your love and support!
Take care.

The Perfect Affordable Powder
5/22/2014
Catrice Made to Stay Waterproof Powder
I'll blame this one mostly on Ana Rita from Let's Talk About Beauty since she raved this a lot ( and she had real reason for doing it).
To me, Powder is an important step - weather for setting foundation/bb cream/cc cream/ whatever-cream ; set concealer under my eyes and spots and of course, helping me with controlling the oil on my T-Zone (specially in the Summer time).
So, on a trip to my local Drugstore I decided to get this one and tried it. I'm currently hitting pan on my Rimmel London Powder - which I really don't like and probably won't repurchase (hint : packaging issues and powdery + cakey finish) so I wanted to try something else. The Catrice Powder is translucent while Rimmel's gives a hint of colour but it doesn't leave a white cast on your face. Although You should be careful because it contains silica, which is an ingredient that it's known to give a flashback effect on flash photography (remember Angelina's face? )
Besides that, the powder is really fine and gives a gorgeous look to your skin - makes it look like velvet and helps with minimizing pores. Alto, controls the oil on my T-zone pretty nicely. And the packaging is brilliant - sleek, with a big mirror and easy to carry. Also, it's quite resistant (quite opposite to Rimmel's).I can stay 6 hours without blotting my face, which is really good.
The "waterproof" claim is something that I didn't try because usually I really don't wear make up when I'm on the beach or pool side, but I've seen some tests and it looked nice.
If I used to be on a hunt for the perfect powder for my T-zone, after trying this one, the search stopped for a little. Yes, I really want to try out a nice high end powder (Like Urban Decay's de-slick or Too Faced's Primed and Poreless powder), but I'm not really worried since I got this.

For a Powder that costs around 4,50€, I'm really happy and I hope that Catrice doesn't discontinues him. (seriously, please don't do it!)
