Meet the Eye Team

After sharing my current makeup favourites that can stand the heat, today I'll be sharing the items I have been wearing lately (specially at night outs when the makeup won't be melting). These might seem a lot, but obviously there are day when my makeup looks are more simple than others.

NYX Proof it! eye primer

I got this primer because I heard it was a very good dupe to the super expensive (and apparently good) eye primer from Nars. I have extremely oily eyelids and I always need to wear a primer, otherwise things can get strange. As far as I am concerned, this is a really good primer. It is affordable and does it's job without much fuzz. I want to try another primers but I'll repurchase it for sure!

NYX Glitter Glue primer

Probably my favourite NYX product. Not even joking. After watching a review on Youtuber (cannot recall the name of the YouTuber! Sorry!!) about how wearing this with shimmer shadows was a turning point to her, I decided to get it. It was a wise decision since I has already two pressed glitter shadows and eventually bought the HudaBeauty Desert Dusk palette (which contains at least 5 shadows that require this type of primer). It does what it claims : glues the glitter in place.Repurchase for sure!

Innisfree Skinny Waterproof Mascara

A very recent purchase that ended up becoming a life changer. You see, my lashes don't curl easily and any "heavy" mascara will drop and above all feel super heavy. I have tried to work with my drugstore mascaras and none of them worked for me. I decided to give another try to Korean mascaras before jumping again into High End Ones. And I am so glad I did it. The brush of this Mascara is super thin!! But the truth is, it holds my curl and I am able to have mascara on my eyes for more than 8 hours without feeling tired or wanting to scratch my eyes. A total win for me.

Inglot Gel Eyeliner in Black

The best Gel eyeliner. My best-friend got me this last Christmas and has been my trusty companion ever since. It is super easy to apply and looks beautifully on the eyes. Also it stays in place for many hours without moving or budging. The only downside is the fact that I have to be cleaning my eyeliner brushes every two days.

Revolution X Soph Eyeshadow Palette

I've recently reviewed this palette and I have to say: the love is the same. I love how I can create a tone of looks with this palette without much fuzz and confusion. All I have to do is to decide on a colour scheme and I'll have a some kind of quad that will fall into it. The matte shadows are easy to blend - and have amazing transitioning shades - and the shimmers are beautiful. I have to admit, I am looking forward to get the new palette and the new lipsticks she released with them as well!

Zoeva Rose Golden Eyeshadow Palette

One of the first items I ever bought from Zoeva, this palette is a dream! I tend to wear it more during the summer time - while Cocoa Blend for instances is more of a Winter palette to me. The shimmer shades, special emphasis to the red based ones, are beautiful to apply. I'll be giving this baby love until Autumn arrives without any question!
And as a honourable mention, I cannot stress enough how much I love my eye brushes (majority from Zoeva).  The same goes to my Make Up For Ever setting spray that I often use alongside the Glitter glue to set my glittery eyeshadows onto my lids. Believe me! It is a completely game changer applying a shadow like that with a proper wet brush than with a dry one (glitter flying everywhere? no thank you!)
And you? What has been your eye makeup team?
