Three Morning Skin Care Essentials

8/07/2018

There's nothing like starting a morning with positivism. One of the things I love to do is to start my morning with a cup of coffee and to meditate a little (unless I have classes and work, otherwise I get way too early for that). But I'll always do my skin care routine and I'll share today the three stars of said routine.

The Current Night time routine | Skin Care

10/11/2014

Let's highlight the current here. Next month I'll probably have another one because of some thing I'll be testing. Plus there's also other things I want to get so and add into my routine - like the new La Roche-Posay toner that hasn't been released here yet. I've been scouting almost every single pharmacy and drug store to see if it's here already and nothing. Still, I want to use the minutes I could spare right now to post this. I'll try to get some new photos and post ideas for next week posts this Sunday. And I'm only waiting for the last package to arrive from Korea and I'll post my haul! (like...finally!)

Anyway, here we go!

So, cleansing is something really important for me. It's pretty much essential.
When I arrive at home I tend to do a pre-cleanse with my Garnier Micelar water and the Garnier Eye Makeup Remover because I always feel that it's too much. Specially when I all I want is to put my comfortable clothes and do my assignments.
But this doesn't mean that I won't do proper cleanse later. I'll always use my The Body Shop Cleansing oil...actually, some times I go straight to this instead of using the other two. Because it removes everything from skin, without being over striping.

Twice a week I like to exfoliate my skin with my Avène Cleanance Mask, which contains both BHA and AHA in it. It removes the dead skin without being too harsh.
But everyday I use toner. Specially my The Body Shop Aloe Toner which doesn't have any trace of alcohol. It's really gentle and prepares my skin to the next step.
Which is serum/special care. It's when I use my La Roche-Posay Effaclar duo+ so that my acne marks and scars can go away. I can't wait to get the Mizon serum to add it to my routine as well.
And lastly, I need to moisturise both my face and eye area. For the eye area I go for a good amount of my Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel and leave it like a mask and let it soak. For my face, I like my La Roche Posay Hydreane Riche, which is thicker but not oily. I always wake up with a super plump and healthy skin after this.

So here you have it. My night time skin care routine.
I know, it could be better...I promsse it will be better next time.

Take care everyone! Have a nice day!
With Love,
Diana.

The Current Morning Skin Care Routine

9/20/2014

Hiii! I know, I should had a post online already..I should. Anyway, I got a few minutes to spare and decided to post the current morning routine. Let's highlight the word current because I'll probably do a few changes during the next month - but don't worry, I'll update you then.

So, my morning skin care is really simple - cleansing, moisture and SPF. And eye cream. Nothing more (for now).

Cleansing - Micelar Water from Garnier
It's what I'm currently using because it's gentle. In the morning I don't need anything too strong or powerful because I'm only talking the sweat and traces of the products I had placed on my face the night before. An oil would be too much so I go for this instead.

Moisture - La Roche-Posay Hydreane Legere

After cleansing, moisture. I like simple moisturizers that don't contain any mineral oil, otherwise I'll end up with my skin even oilier and dehydrated. This one is really simple and leaves my skin in a good mood. It's been a favourite for over a year already.

Eye Care - Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel
My under eye are is quite dry so, before concealer an eye treatment is a must do. I like this one specially for the day time because it sinks really fast and it's super comfortable. My eyes also look less purple - I'll probably keep buying this as my day time treatment.

SPF/Sun Block - La roche-Posau Anthelios SPF50+  UVB+UVA
Sun Block is something I wear when it's really sunny and I'm out. Before anyone get super scandalized : with college, most of my time is spent in class rooms, school hallways and metro stations. It's also been raining here so...But when there's sun and spend a lot of time out - OH YEAH. I like this one because it's really light weight, sinks in and doesn't look greasy at all. Perfect.

So, here's my skin care for the day time. I'll try to post the night time one during next week. (I know, this one was a really small post...sorry!)
Take care everyone, have a nice day!

With Love,
Diana.

June Favourites'14

7/01/2014

June the crazy month

June was a hitting pan month. If April and May were amazing, June wasn't that good. My anxiety levels were really high and it was like I couldn't fundtion. It was like rock bottom to me. Praying helped me a lot - it was a very me time were I could think and try to see some light. Things are getting better and I've done some personal changes and I'm really trying to learn from this.
Antoher problem is my laptop - the fan isn't working as it should so he overheats and shuts down A LOT. I have to spot at every hour and do things "stage by stage" with fear that he might shut down for good. I'm waiting for an open day so my dad can take him to a gentleman that know how to change the thing (and hopefully change my current keyboard which got broken last time while they were deep cleaning).
A Good thing this month was my Swap with Shayne. Mostly because I'm really happy that she enjoyed what I sent her. I was depply scared that she wouldn't like or be disappointed.

Now, let's go to the beauty favourite, shall we?

The Body Shop Aloe Toner
This really simple toner has been helping me a lot. it really calms and prepares my skin for getting the hydration and special care that sometimes she needs. It doesn't contain any alcohol or funky scent so it's amazing for sensitive skin. I'll be doing a more in-deep review during July.
The Body shop Camomile Cleansing Oil
I don't need to rave this again, right? It's a really amazing and silky oil that cleanses my face without being too harsh and over stripping. My make up is removed without any fuzz or problems.
Bioderma Sensibio eye Gel
I reviewd this on Sunday and just like I said - it's nice. But I'll still need something extra for the cold winter time. But for the current weather? Marvelous.

Too Faced La Crème Juicy Melons Lipstick
The most perfect and pretty coral lisptick. Super Creamy, pigmented and easy to wear. This needs to get more attention, yes it does.
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
My next review will be this bad boy. I can say that I really like it, although there's a "small" detail that doesn't let him be my "all ove the face and under eye concealer". Besides that, it's amazing.
Benefit High Beam
So pretty. So, so pretty. I carried this with me during my trips and made the hole difference. And I actually prefer this to the dupe version from MeMeMe.(probably because this is more gelly and less liquidy).
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shado in Bikiny-Tiny
After depoting my the Bronze of Champions kit, I finally started to pay more attention to this. It was amzing on my travelling because of it's size. The champagne colour is perfect for everyday wear.

I hope you like this post. Take care everyone, have a great July!

With Love,
Diana.

A Sensitive Eye Care

6/29/2014

Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel

With my Lierac Dioptigel giving it's last breath's, I thought it was time to do a little change and trying something else. I had heard really amazing things about this gel from Bioderma - which is a brand that I really enjoy - so I had really high hopes for this, specially because it's from a very nourishing line.
There are many differences between this product and the one I had before. The packaging of this one is bigger and is less delicate and the tip of the tube is actually really nice to control how much product we want or not. And the product it self is also quite different -the texture is lighter and has a milky-white colour.
In therms of the product efficacy it has good and bad points. It takes less time to sink in (probably because it contains alcohol, although it's not it's first or second ingredient) but it's not as moisturising as the one from Lierac. Don't get me wrong, this moisturises my under eye area but if I apply a "regular" amount it won't last too much. in the morning I'll feel the need of running and slandering it again. I need to apply twice or trice as much to get a more fuller hydration. I always notice that when ever I do that my eyes look less purple and less swelled in the morning.
I'll keep repurchasing this as my morning eye cream but I'll have to get a more thicker gel or cream for the Winter time were I need all the hydration that I can get because the cold nights make my under eye are dry, more sensitive and sometimes flackey. Overall, it's good and won a nice place in my routine.
What's your favourite eye cream and/or eye gel? What would you recommend as a nice eye care product for the winter days?
I hope that you enjoyed this post.
Take care, have a nice day!

With Love,
Diana.

And Yet...another Haul?

3/28/2014

Yes, Yes, I know. Another Haul? Don't get mad...Like I said on my previous Haul, I had a few things to get because the current ones where either gone or running out...Oh and don't worry, there will be another Haul coming because I'm still looking for a Concealer and I have to get two new skin care items (You'll understand why in a minute...OTL).

Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel
My Current Eye gel is on the verge of ending. I have like...a week of use? So I really needed a new one (even knowing that I got sample from another eye cream, which I'll be saving for a special occasion) an I had seen really good reviews about him. Let's see how he works.

Benefit They're Real Mascara
This is a Backup, I got it now mainly because of Sephora's 20% off offer. My 2 Drugstore mascaras are getting pretty dry and the Too Faced Mascara that I own is a complete mess...which would left me with a sample size of They're Real. I won't buying many mascaras (ok, I'm thinking about 2 Korean ones, but I'm still working on getting Kollectionk's 10$ coupon) in the next months so I think I made a nice purchase.

Benefit Big Easy Foundation/BB Cream
Remember the Recommendation post? I ended up getting this one because of the discount. My current foundation is ending (and sometimes the scent doesn't look the same, scary!) so, I had to get one ASAP. I've tried out twice and looks nice. It has a light coverage, but can be build and it's really light on the Skin. I still need to try it out a little more before writing any review.

Avène Clenance Mask
I've heard amazing reviews about this mask and I'me super curious to try it. Aparently it helps out skin by doing some chemical exfoliation with AHA/BHA complex. Yes, it wasn't the most affordable mask, but if it helps my skin during the SOS times, it will worth every peny. (and yes, I'm looking after a substitute to my current clay mask)

Lierac Démaquille Purete
This....Why me? I got this by impulse and I did a huge mistake. First I thought that this was an oil - it's a gel. Second, IT CONTAINS MINERAL OIL (bloody hell) . The price tag was on top of the bastard's ingredient name. I tried this and...I hate it. No, it's not good. My skin felt super horribly dried and twitching. I didn't wanted to do it so soon but, I'll have to get a Balm and a Oil Cleanser (probably from Innisfree) along with the concealers.  I'm also thinking about doing a "I regret buying" post because of this products (and Avène's foaming cleanser as well. What a bad luck...two bad cleansers in a row!)

L'Oréal Ever Sleek Shampoo & Conditioner
This is part of their "Sulphate-free" range but I'm not sure if it's really sulphate-free (Let's see if it Foams or not...). I recently finished a bottle of conditioner and I'm the verge for finishing another of Shampoo so I had to get these. I'm crossing fingers here...I thought about getting The Body Shop's range but went for this because of the raves. No, I don't need another two products for my regret post.

So yeah...here it is. I'm so mad about the cleanser/make up remover thing.I'm just crossing my fingers that the TBS cleanser doesn't finish until I get the ones. My skill will cry in despair T__T
Take care everyone, have a nice day!

With Love,
Diana.

December Favourites'13

12/28/2013

Finally I'm able to write something. I was lucky enough to have time and good weather to photograph this. Starting with Balea's Hand Cream, I got this as a birthday gift from a German friend. I'm not a huge fan of hand cream, but this  is amazing. The scent is good and the texture is perfect - fluid and absorbs quickly. If there is something that I hate is "silicone" based creams that only mask hydration and don't absorbs at all.
Next, my trusty Bioderma Sébium H2O needed to me mentioned. Although I'm thinking about tying out other cleansing waters (like caudalie's or nuxe's for example), this is a really good one.My skin doesn't feel irritated, it cleans it very well. The only down side about this product is the fact it takes a lot to remove waterproof products. Besides that, it's a really lovely product.
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would buy a few things from LUSH. Besides this amazing scrub - Let the Good Times Roll - I also got a solid shampoo called Seanik (which isn't here because I was too lazy to get him...I'll be working on a review later). This scrub is made of popcorn and it's a delight to wear. But for those who have acne and more sensitive skin, I won't be recommending this, since it's quite harsh (which is why I won't be getting Ocean's Salt like I thought I was...if this is harsh, that one is even worse!)
Painterly from MAC is a true wonder. I can wear it alone or use it as a base to other eyeshadows. They usually don't crease when I use this (unless it's super hot or if the eyeshadows aren't that good). Best purchase from MAC!Although, I have to admit that the new Benefit  cream eyeshadows are a really good alternative and worth to check.
At last but not least, L-Mesitran Soft Wound Gel. At the beginning of the month I had a huge cold which for some reason ended up ruining my lips as well. The wounds would hurt and look really ugly...I end up visiting my local Pharmacy and asking for something to heal this...4 to 5 days after my lips were better, without pain or swelling!I' know that medicines aren't a proper thing to show, but I really had to share this. I almost couldn't eat because of the swelling...it was horrible.

So, that's it for today's post.  Take care everyone!
Have a nice day

With Love,

 Diana.
